Regarding the Pottery Lady's speaking fees, Carole does not have a set price. According to scripture, she believes as it says "a workman is worthy of his wage", she feels she can not put a price on spreading the message of the gospel of Jesus Christ. However, she does provide for the needs of her family through this ministry. Carole asks that you would pray and seek the Lord in this area. For you know the size of your congregation, your budget and the ministry funds available. She trusts that the Lord would put on your heart an appropriate honorarium.
She also asks that she may bring her pottery to sell because that is what she relies on for an income. As Paul was a tent maker by trade, Joseph a carpenter, Peter a fisherman... Carole is a potter.
Your ministry is responsible for trans-portation and lodging during the event. If you are in California, Nevada, Oregon, or Arizona the cost is $ .50* per mile both ways.** If in other states, you are responsible for airfare and transportation to and from your retreat location. To calculate the miles, use the link to the left and input the address location of the speaking engagement. Then look at the calculation at the end for total miles and double since that is one way. Please have the transportation fee in a separate check made payable to Carole Wolaver, it would be greatly appreciated.
**Please note that the set fee by the IRS is $.50 for mileage reimbursement. With the increasing gas prices, we ask that your ministry be aware and prayerful about this issue.
Effective January 1, 2008, the IRS has approved a mileage rate increase - the new rate is 50.5 cents per mile.
